Hello, dear english speaking friends,
welcome to
IDG. IDG stands for
Inventori Di Giochi (Game Inventors), and represents the web meeting point for the
italian game authors community. We count more than
1000 registered users: among us are wannabe authors and professional authors, who want to share their passion, their ideas and their resources.
IDG has gone beyond the limits of the web.
Three national meetings are held each year for game designers, playtesters and publishers: in
Piossasco - near Turin - in january; in
Berceto - near Parma - in April; in
Sant'Omero - near Teramo - in June. As a consequence, many new authors have had their games published.
For this reason, we prefer talking about a
community rather than about a website. We think that IDG has contributed to a
new way of doing, in which the desire of confrontation and sharing has made the italian scene quickly grow up in the last years.
The greatest part of the contents is in italian, so if you don't speak our language maybe you'll feel a bit lost... but if you write in english in the forum, for sure someone will answer. If you want to contact some italian author or publisher, you can write to the
crew of the website. We will be glad to help you.
