Well, it finally happened. I’ve owned my 2015 Wrangler JK for four years and always heard about death wobble but never experienced it until last week on the way to work. Hit a small bump at around 90 km/h and the whole front end started shaking violently until I slowed down to almost a stop. Honestly scared the life out of me. I’ve since replaced the steering stabilizer because that’s what a local shop suggested, but the wobble came back two days later. After doing some research, I think the real issue is worn out control arm bushings or maybe a bad track bar. I’ve been searching for Accomplished Control Arm Mussafah specialists because I don’t want to just keep throwing parts at it without a proper diagnosis. Has anyone here actually fixed death wobble for good on a JK? What was the root cause in your case? I’m in Abu Dhabi so any shop recommendations where they actually understand solid front axle suspension geometry would be amazing. Really don’t want to sell the Jeep but I can’t drive it like this.
